A Gamification
system for
ambassador
Ambassadors stick around when effort feels like it adds up—not when every mission resets the story to zero. Club Levels is a progression layer in the Club app: tiers, points, and unlockable perks that make status and next steps legible on iOS and Android, while giving brands a fairer read on who is actually driving engagement over time.
Engagement had no engine. Users acted once — then disappeared.
No progress. No status. No reason to stay.
Inconsistent engagement
Spikes at launch, then drops. Nothing to sustain participation.
No sense of progress
No visibility into standing, distance covered, or what to work toward.
Post-mission drop-off
First mission done — then gone. No pull to come back.
No segmentation for brands
Everyone looked the same. No way to identify or reward top performers.
Introducing Levels.
Mission activity converts into visible status. Points unlock levels. Levels unlock real perks — higher commissions, early access, brand recognition. Every reward is tangible, not just a badge.
Four steps.
One loop.
The system is built around a simple, repeatable loop. Each step is visible, each reward is tangible, and each level-up moment is designed to feel earned — not automatic.
Hover or focus a step to see how it connects in the loop.
The progression
experience, screen by screen.
From status to level-up, each state stays clear, rewarding, and emotionally sharp.
From club setup
to lasting motivation.
How brands define club type, point rules per audience, and rewards in one place.
The thinking behind
the key calls.
Three principles for the strongest calls in Levels.
Clarity of Progress
Level, distance to next tier, and next unlock—always in view. No hunting; the bar stays honest.
Information DesignAvoiding Gamification Noise
No empty badges. Tiers map to commissions, access, and collaboration—trust has to last past week one.

Level-up is full-screen, not a toast. Perks land in steps so the win feels earned and memorable.
Interaction DesignWhat this project
taught me.
-
01
Progression needs an anchor in reality.
Perks, not badges. Real value beats abstract gamification.
-
02
Emotional moments need dedicated space.
Full-screen level-ups on purpose—people remember moments, not flows.
-
03
Simplicity is a feature.
Four tiers beat noise. Legible progress feels doable.
-
04
Progress visibility drives retention.
A visible “64% to Gold” bar brings people back.
-
05
Design for both sides.
Status for ambassadors; top 10% for brands—both first-class.
